No space for a dental implant - can the space be closed with braces? (photos)

Gorgeous746021
I got a cbct before braces, and I was informed that my lower right milk canine never fell out, and that my permanent teeth was impacted. The dentists surgically extracted both and I was told the space could be widened and I could get an implant in its place. But almost 4 years after,I still have braces and the dentist told me the space cannot be widened and its still too small for an impant. What should i do? Can this space be closed by braces instead of an implant?
