I had IPL on a sunspot on my cheek 1 day ago. I scratched the top of the spot off while sleeping. Any suggestions? (photos)

Area is now pink and raw looking. Did not bleed. Should I cover it with a bandaid to protect it? Should I put anything on it (aloe? or something else?)

Please use Vaseline or Aquaphor two to three times per day for approximately one week.  It is very important to cover the area and avoid sun exposure to this area to prevent hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation. Keep the area moist with Vaseline and covered with a bandaid until it has healed.  You must avoid the sun to prevent darkening of the area.
