Hair loss and hair thinning - is this telogen effluvium or female pattern hair loss?

Hi, Nov 2021 got keratin treatment and also went through a severe stress in personal life. Have hair fall since then, loosing around 50 to 60 hairs everyday and 80 to 100 when head baths. I see white bulb at the end of each hair but each and every hair is thinning out, old ones and the new grown ones Is this Telogen effluvium or female pattern hair loss ? Did keratin treatment have any effects on my scalp for miniaturisation of follicles. Ps: no one has genetic hair loss in my family

In oder to diagnose hair loss, I need three things: 1) a full story of your health from birth until the present day, 2) examination of your scalp up close including trichoscopy and 3) review of your blood tests. that’s the only way. It is not possible to diagnose hair loss with the information given. Family history does not make a big difference in terms of whether a female has FPhL or not. Many women have FPHL without a strong history. Most hairs that are lost have a white bulb regardless of whether FPHL or TE or AA or LPP or FFA or CCCA or even normal shedding. This is not a feature that suggests one diagnosis over another. Be sure to see an expert. You’ll need some blood tests that’s for sure. But the exact tests you will need will depend on your full story that you share with the specialist. Your full medical history including COVID infection history and vaccine history will need to be reviewed. All medications and supplements started and stopped in the last 2 years will need to be thoroughly reviewed.
