Why do I feel no restriction after my VSG?

VSG 5-15-15. From the start of eating solid food I've felt no restriction/fullness. I've read many reviews & everything I've seen mentions fullness or nausea/pain if they ate more than 1/4-1/2c. I started slowly because I was scared to stretch it but I'm already eating 2-3c & still feel nothing. Why's my sleeved stomach able to hold so much comfortably? My Dr. keeps saying "fullness" is a myth but isn't that the point of this procedure? To help feel full w/ only a little so you quit eating?
