I’ve been getting deep red bumps that feel like in-grown hairs, usually show up about 10-14 days after laser. They last for weeks sometimes 2 months or more (and end up leaving scars), and aren’t receptive to any topical cleansers or creams (SA, benzoyl peroxide, AHA/BHA, glycolic acid, antibiotics) or exfoliating. Have seen a dermatologist who gave me a BP/antibiotic cream that didn’t do anything. These also can occur all over my body but primarily on my neck.

Thank you for your question! As long as you are not continuing with laser hair treatments, you can thread and wax. It is only while getting laser hair removal treatments that you shouldn’t thread or wax because the laser targets the hair follicles in order to destroy them.
