I had braces as a teen, but the retainer/wire I had on the inside of my bottom teeth fell out when I was 20. I’m now 34, and my bottom teeth are getting increasingly crowded. How long might Invisalign take, and is it possible to only have them on the bottom?

Ask your provider to see the clinCheck, it should show the gaps closing over time. Your teeth are most likely too crowded to improve without IPR if you need this much. But keep in mind 0.5mm is not a large amount of space/gap to close.
Yes, Invisalign may even improve your clenching since it will improve how your teeth fit together. Invisalign is cut short of gums so should not cause recession.
