Should I continue to wear my Invisalign if the attachment doesn't fit exactly into the aligner? I am going on vacation tomorrow.

Yesterday, I was given a new invisalign plan (I was on set 2 of the old plan, but they had to be remade because my back molar wasn't captured in the impression). This new plan required additional attachments but I was told the other attachments were fine. Last night, I noticed that one of my bottom teeth has a rectangular attachment when the aligner has a square hole. This is causing it to not fit tightly against the tooth .

You should continue wearing your invisalign aligner even though the attachment does not fit perfectly.  Your teeth will shift if your trays are not in.  Make sure you return to your dentists when you get back from vacation

Attachments typically are removed if remaking impressions. That said, your dentist could remove the attachment and form a new one using a new aligner if all else fits perfectly.  You want fewer variables as as what we are doing is complex enough. If you cannot get the aligner to seat, continue wearing your last fitting aligner and contact your Invisalign dentist ASAP.  Just may set you back a week or so.
