Is it normal to have muscle spasms a month after Botox?

This is the second time this has happened and I’m freaking out. First time was yesterday, and second time was just now. A small area on my forehead will raise up and I can’t control it! It only lasts for 10 seconds and it relaxes again. It’s in the center of my forehead. First one was a slight to the right and the second was slightly centered and to the left. What the heck is going on?? Should I be concerned?

Thank you for your question!  It is not normal for spasms to occur after having Botox.  We recommend that you seek a medical consultation to further look into that matter.  Best regards!

Botox results gradually resolve and this can be typical as you regain movement. Botox results last up to 3-4 months and can be softened with venus legacy and thermage treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
