It seems that the benefits of this technology flow mostly to the practice in terms of fast treatments. But because of the low peak temperature of the hair follicles, there is much less permanent hair removal. Most of the practices I have spoken with that use the device end up using the small spot size handpiece for most hair removal treatments.

The longest time that I have seen it take for hair to shed is 5 weeks. I would return to the clinic and have them check for shedding hair. It is easy to detect. Shedding hair will slide out of the follicle like it is "greased."
