Laser treatment during menstruation cycle?

hello According the clinic where I am having laser treatment , it is not recommendable to do laser hair removal during menstruation cycle. could you please inform me why should i avoid it?

You can have laser hair removal when you're menstruating. Diode, alexandrite and yag lasers work best for hair removal. I typically have patients do every 4 weeks for the first 3 times and then every 4-6 weeks for 3 times after. See an expert in laser hair removal for best results. Best, Dr. Emer

While you still can get your laser hair removal done during your menstrual cycle, you may find that the treatment is more comfortable if you wait until after your cycle is over. A surge in hormones can increase the sensitivity of your skin. Please seek a board-certified dermatologist to see if you are an ideal candidate for the treatment.

I am not aware of any contraindication to laser hair reduction during menses. Some women do experience more discomfort during this time due to hormonal fluctuations. If the area being treated is the bikini area, the clinic may prefer not to treat the area at this time.  There is no medical reason that it cannot be done.
