Will Invisalign close a 2 cm gap? (Photo)

Question

I have 2 baby tooth (1cm each) that is hanging very tight onto my bottom jaw. Dentist #1 suggested to extract those 2 baby teeth and put invisialign to help with overcrowding. Dentist #2 advised not to do this, it will cause too much gap between the other teeth and also the teeth around the baby tooth might collapse onto each other. Dentist #3 said I should wait until baby teeth fall off. Since they are healthy and not bothersome. He suggested I should look into bridges when they fall off.

The baby teeth may need to be removed and the space can be used to correct the anterior crowding and also bring forward the molars.Unfortunately Invisalign would be limited in bringing the molars forward as they tend to tilt forwards.For the good results I would use Invisalign for the front and then at the end decide if you want to us sectional braces to pull the front teeth further back and close the gaps.For the best result but unfortunately they are visible you can have fixed outer braces or gold Incognito on the inside of the teeth.

If you are going to have the baby teeth extracted and close the space, I would not choose Invisalign.  I would recommend seeing an Orthodontist in your area to find out what your best options are in terms of leaving the baby teeth, or extracting the baby teeth.
