What are the chances of my front teeth falling out if I have short roots?

My dentist told me i have short roots i did have braces before which made it worse i guess...my tooth feels like its goint to fall off and im soo scared. Can my tooth just randomly fall off any day????

The chances of a front tooth with short roots just randomly falling out one day are EXTREMELY unlikely! Front teeth with short roots are, however, more susceptible to being knocked out with trauma.I would ask your dentist what your options are. Sometimes doing nothing and trying to avoid situations where your teeth could get hit (contact sports, etc.) is the best option.  Sometimes a bonded wire behind the four front teeth is used to splint your teeth together (think strength in numbers...).
