Back tooth just broke at the gum line. I'm pregnant, so am I able to be treated?

Sitting here eating bread when my tooth broke at the gum line, I've had issues with it in the past and have a fear of the dentist. Additionally I'm pregnant, so am I able to be treated? I don't have any pain but am concerned that pain or swelling will come but what do say? Thanks
