How long should a 44 percent carbamide peroxide be left on your teeth?

Carbamide peroxide in high concentrations such as 44% can cause severe sensitivity to the tooth, and gum irritation. I advise you not to use such high concentration by yourself. Usually of the bleaching dentist choose to use such high concentration, your teeth must be evaluated before hand for micro cracks, gum recessions, and leaking fillings. Under supervision of a knowledgeable dentist it might be placed max for 15 minutes, if the dentist had examined you thoroughly. the higher the concentration the less time is required, but again, it can cause sensitivity and in some cases irreversible damage!
