if you are not interested in orthodontics you would certainly be a candidate date for porcelain veneers.  There are several issues that could be addressed to improve your smile with approximately ten veneers on top.  Find a cosmetic dentist in your area for a consult.  

The answer is yes, you CAN get veneers to improve your look.  The best approach is to get a wax blueprint of the desired smile and see if you are satisfied with what it would take to veneer.  Some teeth may need crowns if the position is really far off (or extractions in extreme cases where braces are refused).  A better smile IS possible, but should be planned out in advance.

I understand the allure of veneers and instant orthodontics.  I actually love doing cases like yours.  but, while it may be fast it may not be the best treatment available.  Unfortunately you had contraction orthodontics with the extraction of teeth rather than expansion orthopedics.  This is an enormous problem within the field of orthodontics.  Ideally expansion orthopedics should be done between age 3-7  and Oral Myofunctional Therapy should be taught to each an every orthodontic patient.  This will prevent the stories of relapse and sad cases like yours with poor results after two rounds of orthodontics.  I would prefer to see you in a DNA Appliance first to grow your maxilla and have an Oral Myofunctional Therapist teach you how to prevent relapse.  Growing the Maxilla will eliminate dark buccal corridors and deep labial labial groove and if veneers are done later the results can be amazing.To achieve the same results with just veneers can be accomplished esthetically but there will be comromises in ease of cleaning and areas where food accumulates if you really want a full wide healthy smile.  I love doing those veneer cases but it is important to understand their are compromises.
