Is FX CO2 laser treatment as good as ablative CO2 & what is the downtime with FX?

A fractionated CO2 laser is great for treating fine lines, wrinkles, and discolorations caused by sun damage, as well as to treat acne scars. Downtime is about 4-7 days depending on settings used. A series of treatments is recommended for best results.
An Ablative CO2 laser is perfect for treating deep lines, intense sun damage, and scar tissue. Downtime is 7-14 days. Typically only one session is needed depending on your goals.

For facial rejuvenation I would suggest a combination approach including:
1) Skincare with products and microneedling/PRP
2) PDT Light Therapy a few times per month with growth factors
3) Laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant regularly and others (Fraxel, Moxi, Viva, CO2, Erbium, Halo) a few times per year
4) Sculptra injections a few times per year for collagen production with fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, Radiesse, and/or Bellafill
5) Thermage/Ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone-based Instalift threads for lifting
6) Botox every 2 to 3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest
