Is it good for a 16 years girl to whiten her teeth?

Teeth whitening is a popular treatment for many, due to the unrivaled improvements it can give the appearance of our teeth. I would say that 16 is about the minimum age before one should even consider teeth bleaching, but most young people have not had the aging and staining effects to their teeth that really justify tooth whitening. At your age, a simple whitening treatment at your dentist's office or take-home kit should suffice. If you have deeper, genetic or tetracyclic stains, veneers may be more appropriate, but always try bleaching treatments first if your teeth are otherwise healthy and attractive looking.
