Will using an electric razor while undergoing facial hair removal affect my results?

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask, is it possible to use the electric razor everyday to remove facial hair while undergoing diode facial hair removal every 7-10 days, or will it negatively affect my results? I have PCOS and unfortunately my hair is growing fast, after years of removing it every day with tweezers. Some estheticians have told me that it will not impair the results, others that I should not touch it because it stimulates the hair to grow. Thank you in advance.

While undergoing laser hair removal treatments, you may shave as often as you would like.  The laser is targeting the hair follicle which is not altered with shaving. While undergoing laser hair removal treatments you want to refrain from waxing, epilating, or using depilatory creams as these methods work towards removing the hair from the follicle. Shaving is completely fine.

Using an electric razor will not affect the results of laser hair removal. It is important not to wax or pluck hairs 4-6 weeks before laser hair removal, shaving is ok. Laser hair removal works by targeting the melanin in hair follicles to vaporize them. Shaving does not affect hair follicles.

Using an electric razor will not negatively affect laser hair removal results. In fact, you have to trim and shave the external hair to get more effective results. This is because the laser must penetrate the skin to shrink the hair follicle, thus resulting in diminished hair production. However, you cannot pluck or wax the hair in between appointments because it will remove the entire follicle. I hope this helps!
