I have one crown that has a small chip and now the metal base is exposed. I heard that hydrogen peroxide can damage or rust metal. Is it safe to rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide now that the metal of my crown is exposed? I have had no issues with the crown and the chip does not affect my bite, but I don't want to risk eroding the crown by continuing to rinse with H2O2.
