My legs look like they belong on a 60 year old woman but I am only 38. The skin is wrinkly and laxed. It is no longer tight and firm. I wear pants most of the time to hide them. I am not a sun worshipper. I am just the opposite. I eat healthy and exercise. What causes it and how can I fix it so I can wear shorts again?
Answer: Reduce appearance of creepy skin by doing morpheus8 treatments Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Skin Tightening for Legs/Thighs - Thigh Lift, VASER Hi-DEF, Vanquish, truSculpt, Venus Legacy, Exilis, Cellutone/ZWave, Renuvion Unfortunately this is difficult to answer without the benefit of photographs or a formal evaluation. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Nonsurgical options give only mild improvement as compared to surgical lifting. For the thighs: If there is a lot of skin laxity, a Thigh Lift procedure performed at the same time as a VASER Hi-Definition Liposuction procedure (with Thermi RF, Renuvion, and InMode BodyTite) would give the most improvement. Other options for skin tightening would be a combination approach with Vanquish, truSculpt iD, Venus Legacy, Exilis, and Cellutone / ZWave. For the knees specifically: Sculptra to the knees can help build collagen and improve loose skin and wrinkles. If you have skin laxity, internal threads (like Silhouette InstaLift) can eliminate sagging skin and build collagen over time. Microneedling RF like Morpheus8, Fractora, and InMode Intensif can also help improve skin laxity. Sometimes VASER HI-DEF Liposuction, Kybella and/or trusculpt iD can help with small problem areas of fat in these areas. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a high-definition physique expert to develop a treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Skin tightening has many options We have a lot of ways to tighten the skin. The number one issues is typically sun damage and/or superficial fat loss. We have developed a new series of treatments using abrasion techniques along with different wavelengths of light to target discoloration, fine wrinkles and shadowing problems. Even fat transfer, fillers and other radiofrequency devices are showing good promise in this field. The key is to be critical, be specific about what bothers you and we can use the many tools available to us to target that part of your anatomy. This can range from volumizers to superficial tightening techniques as I mentioned above. Hope this helps. Best of luck, DrC

Answer: Thigh buttock lift surgery for lax leg skin
Without a photo or physical examination there is no way I could make a specific recommendation. Depending on the degree of skin laxity and your height weight ratio you may be a candidate for a thigh buttock lift and/or medial thigh lift. These procedures lift the thigh skin upwards and remove excess inner thigh skin.

Answer: Solution for creppy thigh skin. Unfortunately it sounds like your problem is mostly genetic and not likely in your control. The thighs are a notoriously difficult area to treat. In the past the only answer was to have a thigh lift which leaves unsightly circumferential scars. Now we have a treatment called Renuvion powered by J Plasma. It is a internal skin tightening device that is cool plasma energy, leaves very small scars, and significantly tightens the skin for years. It is an in office procedure we do with oral medication and nitrous gas and is generally very well tolerated only taking a few hours to complete.
