Would laser be effective for calcinosis cutis on cheeks (calcium deposits) not milia?

I’ve suffered with calcium deposits on my cheeks for 5 yrs now, I’ve seen 6 different dermatologist with no luck, the last one tried, did some extractions but that didn’t work that well, I’ve been on retin-a micro for 6 months, it seems to be helping the texture of my skin and the bumps looks smaller, I don’t see retin a helping to get rid of them because they are deep down, if it does it make take years, is there another treatment eg: laser? That could be beneficial.

There are many different treatments you could look at. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified provider to go over all options that are surgical and non-surgical. They could consist of products, microneedling services, thread lifts, etc.

You can get facials in conjunction with tretinoin therapy however we typically recommend stopping the tretinoin at least 5 days before most procedures to minimize the chance of an adverse reaction.I recommend you see a dermatologist in your area for further treatment options.
