Can I use rosehip seed oil with my Retin-A? I have been breaking out and I’m not sure if it's because of Retin-A or the oil.

I have been using rosehip oil for many months and it has been working to decrease my skin and I don’t break out from it. And now that I’m starting Retin-A, I don’t know if my break outs are because I am purging or because I should use a proper moisturizer instead of rose hip seed oil.

Dear ON,Breakouts can be very frustrating.Retin A can cause breakouts when you initially start it, in some people. If you stick with it for a while, the body will get use to it, and then start minimizing acne, rather than causing it.Best. Dr Brecht
