Is it normal for titanium post implants for caps to turn green?

I just had a titanium post implant done and postponed the final surgery because other teeth disintegrated. The posts turned green. Is this really titanium, and is this normal? If it’s not titanium, magnetism is a concern as MRI’s are a frequent required diagnostic.
