Did a Dental implant 2.5months back and everything seem to be fine until recently. My implant tooth give off a foul smell causing my breath to smell bad. One side of my gum looks like it’s shrinking and a little swollen. There isn’t any discomfort except for the smell that’s giving off from that particular tooth. Due to I am pregnant now my dentist advice me to just gaggle with salt water as there’s nothing much beside antibiotic which could help.

Answer: Why is my gum swollen after I just did a dental implant and crown?
It's my advice to discuss your concern with your orthodontist or take a second opinion from another orthodontist. As your case is interdisciplinary [ ortho and implant], so search dentist accordingly. it's my advice to go for Invisalign with the implant for more predictable and fast outcome.
If you need implants, and you do not want to involve the sinuses or bonegrafts , there is a protocol, that can help you a lot and its one of the must advanced treatments that you can find in the market, and its called the ALLON4,this can be your great solution.
