Replacing aligners every week rather than every 2 weeks?

Hello. I began my Invisalign treatment about 2 months ago. I am scheduled for 41 aligner’s total (top and bottom) and my dentist has instructed me to replace my trays once a week. I was under the impression that it was supposed to be done every two weeks. I don’t seem to have any issues or anything but was just wondering is this was common practice. Thanks in advance.
