I had my wisdom tooth removed 5 days ago and have a white bubble over my hole, should I be concerned? (Photo)

I had my wisdom tooth removed on the bottom and it’s been about 5 days since it has been out but now I have this white bubble over the hole I don’t feel pain but it’s uncomfortable should I be worried or is it just heeling

Hi Grace from Rancho Cucamonga, California!  Your wisdom teeth extractions are fine!  Do not worry!  The white stuff is just scar tissue that has formed to allow the extraction site to heal.  When you have a cut or whatever on the outside of the body, it scabs and gets better. Because the inside of your mouth is always wet, it looks like a large white bump.  That shows the tissue is healing!  If you keep a sore covered on the outside of your body, it will turn white but with moist covering, will heal but not scab!  You are doing fine!  Take care of your teeth and always am glad to help people on Real Self!
