I had my wisdom tooth removed on the bottom and it’s been about 5 days since it has been out but now I have this white bubble over the hole I don’t feel pain but it’s uncomfortable should I be worried or is it just heeling

Answer: White Bubble Formed Over Extracted Wisdom Teeth? Is this normal?
You should be able to chew solids at one week out. You may have some tightness in your masseter muscles at this point which is normal post wisdom tooth removal. By thanksgiving you should be able to enjoy all food groups with absolutely no restrictions!
Hi and thank you for your question. That whitish tissue is fibrinous tissue, like the scab from a skin cut. It's not infection. If you continue to be concerned, check with your surgeon.Good Luck!!Dr. Juan C. ArroyoOral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
