Had surgery 3/21 bbl 12 area Lipo I went back to work 3/29 im a stylist so I'm on my feet all day. since returning I get a lot of swelling and fluid build up in my lower abdomen and vaginal area I wear my compression garment always and lipo foams sometimes they make indentations in my skin my ps didn't do a drain but I did receive massages after surgery I'm also experiencing numbness pain n my pinky and ring finger on both hands what could be the cause very concerned

Fluid and swelling in the lower abdomen is not at all uncommon, however, you should visit with your plastic surgeon to get examined to rule out a fluid collection which needs to be tapped.Best of luck!

Swelling will be normal at this stage. If you given a binder wear it a's it will help. 
If any fluid is collected it can removed by aspirations.

Feelling fullness is normal initially due to swelling. If you feel a fluid shift of any sort, then you may have a seroma which might need to be drained.

Hello dear!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.It's very normal to have fluids after 8 days post-op and the swallow in the vagina. You have to be patient, keep the faja on all the time. But the liquids have to be taken out.I recommend you to visit your PS. Good luck :)

It is normal to have swelling and fluid collection in those areas. Contact you surgeon for post op care. He might need to drain the fluid. Good luck.

Swelling in the dependent area of your abdomen/vagina is normal after this procedure. You will continue to increase in size/swell for a few weeks after surgery even if you are good about wearing tight compression. If you have actual fluid (seroma) in your lower abdomen/mons area, then you will need a seroma catheter and likely started on Lasix/K+ (a prescription water pill). The numbness and pain in the ulnar nerve distribution of both hands is likely being caused by compression or positioning/swelling. You need to see your PS.
