CAN I RESHAPE THE ZICRONIA BRIDGE, just went to the dental office toady and ask them to shape the back of the bridge for me, but it feels so rough for my tongue. right now the dentist said the he can'T MAKE it smooth again， I WAS SO CONFUSED ABOUT that, can i get a reshape from another place since HE DON'T want to do it for me

Hi,
Yes it can be reshaped to a certain extent. If too much material is removed then it can weaken the bridge.
If your only issue is the roughness, you dentist should be able to polish it to a point that is super smooth. It will never be as shiny as when it comes from the lab, but it should not be rough.

The part that was adjusted can be smoothed and polished in the mouth, but it would be as smooth as it initially was, unfortunately. But it should be able to be smoothed to a more comfortable level.

Hi:It is true once the zirconium bridge is adjusted it can not be as smooth as original, however, it can still be polished to the point that it is smooth.Best,Dr. Maddahi
