At what stage of the hair growth cycle does dht act up, does it act up during all stages, or does it start to act up once the hair shed, what i mean if a hair is growing out and in the active phase of growth is it being miniaturized during the growing phase or does miniaturization and dht binding happens once that hair finishes its anagen phase

Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is an androgen hormone that plays a role in male biological characteristics. It also has a significant impact on hair growth and loss.
DHT acts during the anagen phase of the hair growth cycle, which is the active growth phase. In individuals susceptible to androgenetic alopecia (commonly known as male or female pattern baldness), DHT binds to receptors in the hair follicles, causing them to shrink. Over time, this leads to a shortening of the anagen phase, and consequently, the growth of shorter and thinner hair strands. Eventually, the hair follicles can become so miniaturized that they stop producing hair altogether.
It's important to note that not everyone is equally sensitive to the effects of DHT on the hair follicles. This sensitivity is largely determined by genetics.
