I Have Protruding Front Teeth and an Overbite. Can Invisalign Really Help? (photo)

Invisalign probably can push back your protruding 2 front teeth. I'm not sure if it can totally correct your overbite/overjet. Check with your Invisalign providor. He can send impressions, photos and X-rays to Invisalign and find out for sure.

From your photographs you do have a slight overbite/deep bite where the lower teeth move upwards and this can make your overjet worse.Invisalign can easily move the front teeth back, but you may need the lower teeth pushed down and inwards.Your scan may also show a residual overjet of 1-3mm. Sometimes to avoid undue enamel stripping it may be better to remove 2 upper teeth. Ask to see the scans and have a look at any overjet still remaining.

From your photos, it looks like your bite has overbite challenges as well as protrusion issues. The protrusion appears to mild to moderate crowding that ended up showing up all in one spot, making it appears worse than if all the teeth were a little crowded. The other issues with the overbite appear to be jaw-related and would require a much greater intervention. Your orthodontist would have told you what was required and if it was advisable. Make sure you wear your retainers faithfully afterwards or you will be kicking yourself later!

I like the effort on the photos:)  Invisalign works very well at aligning front teeth and rounding out your smile.  We have brought teeth like this back many times doing just that.  A thorough exam and evaluation would tell you for sure, but I would check it out if I were you!  Enjoy the day!
