Hi I had an open rhinoplasty post four months. I feel like my Septum bone sticks out more in the right side, inside my nostril. Is this normal? Also post surgery for the first week I would sometimes wake up sleeping on my side, would this have caused it. I’m worried and wondering if I should consider a revision

Short answer is yes correction can be done. The photo appears to be part of the septum that is rotated out of place and can be corrected under local; anesthesia or sedation anesthesia. with a minimal incision.

Hello. Great question. Congratulations on your procedure. There is still swelling present. The swelling misguides the results of your procedures. It can take up to one year for all the swelling to go down. Keep following up with your surgeon.

Hi and thanks for your question. Generally rip cartilage is used in revision rhinoplasty operation. Whole part of rib cartilage unnecessary in most of the case so  partial rib carriage harvesting is preferred in most of the cases.
