Indentation after symmastia/tenting repair, will it disappear? (photos)

Question

I have 360cc UHP implants unders and I had a symmastia/tenting repair 2 weeks ago. The PS released a little on the sides and I have permanent internal sutures to fix the tented midline but now I notice that I have some kind of indentation on left breast. I would like to know if it goes away with time or will I have to fix this later?

Dear maggadance,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD

Congratulations on your recent surgery. Symmastia correction is a difficult procedure. Your initial result appears excellent. As tissues remodel, the sutured areas will usually become less prominent and the result will "soften". Wait at least 3-6 months before considering revision, as this may self correct over time.
