In my experience, it takes at least 3-4 months of nightly use of tretinoin to see improvement, and if the medication isn't being used nightly, then the time to notice results will be even longer. Yes there are higher doses of tretinoin, but I recommend using one dose for at least 3-4 months before changing the medication.
