Are veneers suitable for people who have thin and small lips?

I have small teeth and I want to get veneers, but I have small lips and my upper lip get very thin when I smile, would veneers work for me?

Ideal porcelain veneers should resemble natural teeth and the entire face is taken into consideration when planning.  Having thin lips will not preclude or affect the treatment.

Yes, if your dentist uses a high-end cosmetic lab to make the veneers, veneers can be made very thin- about 0.3 millimeters. So with minimal preparation, your veneers may not affect the lip at all. An experienced cosmetic dentist will take the symmetry as well as the muscles of the face into consideration while planning your new smile. You will also wear temporary veneers for a period of time as a “trial smile” to be certain it is comfortable for you. Hope this helps!
