What are the best fat donor sites for ALMI?

I'm interested in getting a facial fat graft, but not sure where doctor's prefer to take fat from for AMLI, could you clarify?

For ALMI (Autologous Lipocyte Micronized Injection), the most common fat donor sites are areas where you have stubborn fat, such as the love handles, abdomen, or thighs. These locations are typically preferred because they tend to have sufficient fat for extraction and are easily accessible.

The quality of the fat and its ability to survive the transfer is more important than the specific location it’s taken from. As long as the procedure is performed by a skilled provider, any of these areas can be effective for fat harvesting without affecting the donor site’s appearance.

Please see my previous response for more in-depth explanation.The harvest site makes little difference.It would be nice to have the harvest of fat give anesthetic improvement.Some plastic surgeons aren’t good at Liposuction and can potentially leave disfigurement in the process of simply harvesting fat.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
