I just found out that we're moving out of state in a month due to my husband's job, and I'm kinda worried about what to do. I paid for my initial treatment, two refinements, first set of retainers, and teeth whitening in full...so I really don't want to lose that all. Has anyone else moved out of state during their treatment? If so, did you stay with your current ortho and work out a travel schedule, or take the loss and fork over more money to pay for a new ortho's time? Help!!

An implant is not the same as a regular tooth and cannot be moved with orthodontic treatment. The other teeth can be moved to close the gaps or spaces as much as possible around the implant tooth. You should definitely see an Orthodontist for an exam and consultation and they will be able to see...
Its normal for a teeth to feel slightly mobile after undergoing a lot of movement. Once the movement is completed the bone around it should tighten up and the tooth will feel a lot more solid. If you are concerned you should check with your dentist to make sure the tooth is not being moved too fest.
You should check with your doctor after the week end to make sure the fit is still good, but it shouldn’t drastically effect your treatment. It is important that the gum has a chance to heal. You might need to wear the next tray slightly longer to make sure teeth have enough time to move.
