Thermage is a great skin tightening procedure. It delivers radio frequency heat to stimulate collagen and contract tissue. We like to recommend 2 treatments 6 months apart for optimal results. Hope this helps. Enjoy
Thermage is fabulous for skin tightening. I find it an excellent procedure for producing new collagen and rejuvenating the skin. It lifts and tightens the face, especially the jowl area. Please consult an expert. Best, Dr. Green
Thermage is the first generation of non invasive skin tightening devices using RF or radio frequency. Newer generations such as Ultherapy use HIFU or Ultrasound. Both work by heating and contracting collagen. Now, both systems are great, however patient selection and most importantly the person performing the procedure is critical to getting good results. The more 'tip' use or 'line' use in Themage or Ultherapy, in the correct area, the better the results. Best results for both are seen 3-6 months after the initial treatment. The one main risk for Thermage for the eyes is proper shield placement and selection so that the corneas do not get scratched. Please consult an expert. Best, Dr. Green
