I would avoid wearing makeup until the skin has peeled offand the new youthful skin has begun emerged, usually about oneweek. During the healing phase, it is important to apply moisturizerconstantly to prevent the treated area from drying out.
After Pixel laser the skin is red and dehydrated. It is important to use a fragrance free moisturizer and sun screen following the procedure. The moisturizer will help the skin to peel faster. Makeup is not recommended until after the skin peels otherwise the peeling skin is more visible. If you want to use something to camaflauge the redness, use a light tinted moisturizer. Do not use any heavy makeup base as it can dry your skin out delaying the skin healing process. The skin should completely peel in 7 days and then you can use your return to your normal skincare routine.
