I just received a Glytone 70 peel yesterday. I was prescribed cetaphil moisturizer in a green tube. She smothered my face in it yesterday and told me to do the same today. But when I woke up this morning I realized my whole t-zone on my face and including my chin was covered in swollen little white bumps. It looks very similar to a rash that I've revived when I got sun poisoning. Is there a way to get rid of these and how?

From board-certified doctors and trusted medical professionals
Why in the world are you putting acid on your face at home. this should be done by a professional. at any rate for now apply cool compresses followed by 1% hydrocortisone cream twice a day and from now on see a medical professional for medical procedures
Rather than treating yourself piecemeal, see a dermatologist and get on a regimen that will help. Retinoic acid is a good choice as is glycolic acid but it must be done correctly
Glycolic acid is an acid and although not very strong should not be done at home. there are many reasons but at least it most likely will heal without sequelae. apply Vaseline on moist skin couple times a day and let water run over your face in the shower
