The most important thing is to use an ointment that will keep it moist and not irritate the sensitive, healing area. we use Aquaphor in my office. However, there are a ton of other products out there and just look for one that is both natural, has few ingredients, does not have perfume and a bunch of unnatural products added to it. It ultimately comes down to putting on something which does not interfere with your bodies ability to heal itself.
