Can Picosure Be Used on a New Tattoo?

How long after getting a tattoo can I start picosure treatments and how often are the treatments? Tattoo is black, blue and white. Thanks

If you have healed from getting the tattoo and already do not like it you can begin PicoSure to remove it. Most people would need to wait 3-4 weeks from the time of getting the tattoo at a minimum. Look for someone with a PicoSure machine as the difference between this and any other laser tattoo removal is significant. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. It is recommended to wait at least 4-6 weeks after a new tattoo before having it removed as this allows time for your body to heal. Typically it takes 6-9 sessions spaced 4-6 apart to remove 70-90% of a tattoo. Please remember the further the tattoo is from the heart the more time it will take to remove.
