I cracked tooth #14 that had a large filling. Doctor said the tooth couldn’t be saved and it needed a crown. No scan was taken prior to crown prep and what I ended up with is very bulky and rough. I have constant pain and discomfort on my cheek and tongue, my bite feels off, and I’m experiencing alot of jaw pain and clicking. I had about 3 adjustments done and was told that it could not be adjusted any further because it needs to be a certain thickness.
