Why didn't my orthodontist put a bracket on my misaligned tooth? (Photo)

I've just had braces recently and the thing i noticed is that the orthodontist didn't put bracket on the misaligned tooth. I mean, isn't that supposed to be the focus?

Your orthodontist is making room for the tooth before trying to move it into place.  Also, the way your teeth are crowded, if he put the brace on now, it would be in the wrong place because of the severe overlap.  This approach indicates that you have a thoughtful, experienced orthodontist.
