Totally agree with Dr Schwartz, I use to use rollers- 15 years ago. However with newer technology this has largely been replaced with stamping techniques- stamping is safer and causes less skin tearing and collateral damage than Derma Rollers. See video for explanation on why, how, and when to use derma rollers and skin needling. All the best,

Rollers
such as the Dermaroller create a more erratic pattern of "tears"
through the skin rather than the clean, more evenly distributed punctures seen
with motorized micro-needling machines. The key to micro-needling is the healing response that this process
