Epithelial ingrowth worrisome and fixable? Is this normal? Would this be why I have blurry vision and some pain?

After 2 months of vision eyes and some pain, the doc indicated I have epithelial ingrowth and prescribed a steroid. If that doesnt work, then he said he will clean up the ingrowth. Is this normal? Would this be why I have blurry vision and some pain? Will the procedure help the issue?

Epithelial ingrowth is rare but does happen. It can even happen traumatically years after the surgery ( like getting poked in the eye with a sharp thorne!) Mild cases often don't get treated. The treatment depends on the symptoms and location. Recurrence is a risk of the procedure. I have been lucky using a combination of techniques ( advanced techniques, alcohol and mitomycin C application, temporary sutures, contact lens afterwards, and Muro 128 drops) to reduce the chances of recurrence.
