Can you melt Minoxidil foam and apply as a liqiud?

I have warmed up the foam gently by putting it in the cap an s warming the container gently with a blow dryer or hot water and then apply with a dropper. I find i can get the liquid more evenly applied to a greater area. Will this impact effectiveness?
