I have a 4 tooth fixed bridge in the front of my mouth. Of the 4, 3 teeth are working as crowns and 1 is replacing a missed tooth. I have been experiencing bad breath and want to chew gum when this occurs. When I did chew gum (before the bridge), it was always with my side teeth and never the front. Will this be okay being that I have the front fixed bridge?

Hi,
Yes it can be reshaped to a certain extent. If too much material is removed then it can weaken the bridge.
If your only issue is the roughness, you dentist should be able to polish it to a point that is super smooth. It will never be as shiny as when it comes from the lab, but it should...
Hi:My suggestion is to go back to your dentist and let him look at your bridge. My office policy is one year guarantee on all work done. You should check the policy of your dentist’s office.
