My doctor's office is refusing to give me my medical records. I spent $12,600 on rhinoplasty and a necklift.

confused and upset
My surgeon killed himself 30 days after the operation. . I need follow-up care but his wife (who was his business partner) is refusing to release any records.I don't have any more money to hire a lawyer. I feel like I was taken and don't know where to turn and what to do. I am not looking for mal-practice. I just have a negative feeling about this business now. The total I spent with this doctor was over $18,000 which included laser and injections. I need help. As I a sucker?
