Can I have photodynamic therapy if I have filler in my face?

I am planning to do photodynamic therapy a month after my regular filler appointment. I have restlyn and dysport usually put in my cheeks and lips. With photodynamic therapy cause a change in the way the filler has settled?

Hello, We are not certain if you are referring to Photodynamic Therapy with LED light or Aminolevulinic Acid with PDT for acne. If it's the former, we would suggest waiting a few days post-Botox treatment. If it's the latter, we suggest waiting until you are no longer flaking and red. Take...

Thanks for your question.  PDT is a completely different type of energy than the lasers used for tattoo removal, so there should be no problem getting your sun damage and AKs treated with PDT.  The blue light usually used for PDT is not going to see or target tattoo ink, and although...
