Can drinking alcohol affect LASIK outcome? I had LASIK 11 days ago.

Week one my left eye was crisp, clear and right eye crisp but very slightly out of focus. Day 8 I had 2 beers and 4 glasses of wine thruout the day and eve and didn't properly hydrate. Woke up with very dry, blurry Left eye. Right eye remained the same. It is now day 11 and the left eye has improved somewhat but is no longer crisp, I notice it especially around letters. Will my vision in the left return to its crisp state? Did drinking influence the outcome?!

Unless we know exactly what your examination shows, it is impossible to say why you are having light sensitivity. It is exceedingly rare to have light sensitivity for more than a few days after Lasik. If the light sensitivity only began 3 months after the treatment then I would guess that it h...
